Warith Al-Anbiyaa Ranks Fourth among Private Universities in Research Quality

The University of Warith Al-Anbiyaa (PBUH) has achieved a new academic milestone by securing fourth place among private universities and twelfth place among all Iraqi public and private universities in the Research Quality Index issued by the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research. The index is based upon data from research publications indexed in Web of Science for the period 2020–2024.

This notable advancement reflects the university’s commitment to fostering rigorous scientific production and cultivating a stimulating research environment. It aligns with the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), particularly Goal 4: Quality Education, by promoting research-driven higher education and innovation; Goal 9: Industry, Innovation, and Infrastructure, through encouraging publication in globally indexed journals and enhancing research infrastructure; and Goal 17: Partnerships for the Goals, through active collaboration with local and international research institutions.

This achievement underscores the university’s steady progress toward strengthening its academic standing both locally and globally, driven by a clear vision that places research excellence and sustainable development at the heart of its strategy.
