College of Nursing Promotes Nutritional Awareness through Student Cultural Activity

The University of Warith Al-Anbiyaa, represented by its College of Nursing, organised an educational activity as part of the Student Cultural Forum. The event focused on healthy and sustainable foods and their role in maintaining human health and strengthening disease prevention.

The activity addressed several scientific themes, including the concept of sustainable food and the role of proper nutrition in preventing illness and promoting overall health. It also explained the classification of foods according to the needs of different organs in the body and highlighted their role in supporting vital functions and strengthening the immune system.

The activity aimed to raise nutritional awareness among students and members of the university community. It also encouraged the adoption of healthy and sustainable dietary habits that contribute to improving quality of life. This initiative aligns with the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals, particularly Goal 3 (Good Health and Well-being) through the promotion of health awareness and disease prevention, as well as Goal 12 (Responsible Consumption and Production) by encouraging informed choices about healthy and sustainable food.
