The University of Warith Al-Anbiyaa, in cooperation with the High Commission for Human Rights – Karbala Office, organised a scientific seminar entitled “Intellectual Immunisation against Terrorism and Violent Extremism.” The event was held with the participation of the Colleges of Medicine and Law at the university.
The seminar was delivered by Dr Sabah Al-Jubouri, Majid Ouda Al-Masoudi, and Nawras Adnan. The speakers discussed the dangers of extremist ideology and emphasised the importance of intellectual and legal awareness. They also addressed strategies for strengthening intellectual security and promoting social stability.
This initiative forms part of the university’s social responsibility to raise awareness and combat extremism in all its forms. It also supports the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals, particularly Goal 4 (Quality Education) and Goal 16 (Peace, Justice and Strong Institutions), by promoting legal and intellectual awareness among young people and the wider community.
