On the occasion of the international month for breast cancer awareness, the University of Warith Al-Anbiyaa organised an awareness seminar in cooperation with the Breast Cancer Centre at Khadija Al-Kubra Hospital, affiliated with the Holy Al-Abbas Shrine. The seminar was entitled “Early Detection of Breast Cancer.”

The seminar was delivered by Dr Qusay Al-Tamimi and focused on the importance of early detection and regular screening. It also highlighted factors that may increase the risk of developing breast cancer and discussed methods of prevention. The session emphasised the important role of women in society and the need to prioritise and safeguard women’s health.

This initiative forms part of the university’s efforts to support the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals, particularly Goal 3 (Good Health and Well-being). It aims to promote health awareness and encourage early disease prevention, contributing to the development of a healthier and more sustainable society
